The White Lady

An OM White Lady with optional pyramid brige.

The lady headstock and intricately hand engraved floral fingerboard inlays are standard with the White Lady. The heel is all carved in deep relief. The small pickguard is traditional with the OM body size.

Floral heel carving.

The White Lady guitars are a result of my years working at Gruhn's making Vega banjo copies. I wanted to bring to the guitar the fancy engraved pearl inlays, the extra fine woods, along with the intricately carved neck heel. All of these elements have come to represent my White Lady.

Unlike the Herringbone Deluxe or Herringbone, the White Lady has paua abalone trim along the top and back edges of the body, in addition to the rosette. The famous "Naked Lady" headstock inlay has become one of my trademarks over the years. The hand engraved pearl fingerboard inlays intended to suggest a gradually opening flower. Finally, the back of the neck heel is deeply hand carved with the classic Aracantha leaf pattern, an unusual and lovely finishing touch. (see photo at left)
