| 000-OM |
The smallest body styles I build are designed
especially for the fingerpicking guitarist who is looking
for the best possible treble to bass balance. The sound
is big and bright without being overly bassy. Available
in both 14-fret to the body and 12-fret to the body
shapes, with or without cutaways.

| The
F |
Visually the F is an expanded 000
model in shape, but with a full 16 inch wide body. The
wider, deeper body makes for a more Dreadnought-like
sound, but with better bass to treble balance.
Tremendously powerful, it is suited to both fingerpicking
and flatpicking playing styles.

| The
FX |
A Greven original, 12-fret
to the body version of an F model with the classic stoop
shoulders, lovely lines. It is an extremely potent sound,
big and powerful. Can be set up lightly for fingerpicking
or medium for flatpicking. Great with a cutaway.

| The
D |
The famous Dreadnought model, mine patterned after a
1938 vintage Martin I had the pleasure of
restoring many years ago. Best for hard flatpicking
playing styles, it can be set up for fingerpicking as
well. I have reduced the body depth by 1/4 inch to better
balance the treble/ bass response.

| The
J |
This guitar was patterned after the famous Gibson
J-185. A 16 inch wide body with a 4.25 inch depth makes
this guitar ideal for fingerpicking. Itis not a good
flatpicking guitar and I do not recommend it as such. The
sound is very balanced, almost like a steel string
classical guitar, a superior recording instrument because
of its flat response through any amplification system.

| The
DX |
A very large body with a full 17 inch lower bout
patterned after the Gibson J-200.. Definitely a BIG
sound. Can be set of for either finger or flat picking
styles, but is recommended for flatpicking because of it
tremendous bass response and overall power. A big guitar
for the big player.

| The
Prairie State |
The Prairie State model is brand new
to Greven Guitars.
Patterned after the 1920's
guitar by the same name, it features a full 17 inch
body width, but only 4 1/8 inch depth. The sound is huge,
yet very balanced, unlike most large body guitars.
Outstanding for fingerpicking.
